Make it and take it  note cards - This workshop is for family members of railroaders.  You will make 4 cards that will be fun to send to family and friends with direction from Christina Brittain and Carolyn Rose.  All materials will be furnished.

How to build a railroad - A panel of experienced garden railroaders will share ideas, what works and what to avoid with anyone who is building their first railroad or would like to rework the track they have now.  The panel will be lead by practiced trainmen like  Jan Zweerts, Jeff Lange,

and Tom Gaps.

Using Live Steam - Model trains can run on several sources of fuel, but none are as authentic as live steam.  See live steam engines running and learn the pros and cons of investing in them from Ron Bacon.

Using Yahoo groups - This is a hands on class on the club’s computer communication center. It will meet in the computer room and be led by Nick Kelsey.   Limited to 12 persons.

Miniature landscaping with Sky and Bob Yankee from Mini Forest by Sky Nursery.  Sky will bring plants perfect to create miniature scenes along your track and show you how to trim your plants for the most authentic look.

Colorado Railroads Trip - Plans and Preparations for a Fall trip to Colorado and the area reailroads.  Carolyn Rose

Candidates Forum - Come meet and talk with the nominees for the Club Board for the election in January  Gary Lee
