The P.W.C.R.R is a small narrow gage line running from the eastern woods around Elkhorn down to Silverton, Woodburn, and Canby and then on to the base of the falls at Oregon City. The main revenue for the R.R is the daily passenger service, mixed freight, and delivering the logs from the logging camp to the saw mill in Canby or the paper mill in Oregon City. At the edge of town, the R.R has a small yard with a four-stall round house for repairs to the steamers. The line has about 300’ of track that starts with a reverse loop around the yard and winds its way round the pond and up a 3.5% grade past the two tunnels and into the woods to a reverse loop and the branch line to the log loader at camp 18. In the round house we have one newer speeder, an older on up on the hill, #24 an outside frame 2/6/2, and # 4 a two cylinder two truck shay, a 4/4/2. All locos are Radio controlled live steam or battery powered - no track power. The R.R is still growing; I hope that it will never be done - then what would I build?
