Eric is an aging former sysadmin who has forgotten much more than he still appears to know about UNIX system administration. He specialized in Solaris Administration, a System V derivative of the many flavors of what we broadly refer to a UNIX.
He likes Motorcycles, Electronics, G-Scale Railroad modeling and gardening. He leans towards Arduino-like micro-controllers for various projects.. He runs his own internet domain and home email server and dabbles in home automation for fun and a "lively" automated household.
He has a FDM 3D Printer and loves using it..
He uses TinkerCAD to create his 3D solid models.
His printer is a Prusa i3-MKS Printer and he is VERY happy with it.
